Domain Structure of the titin protein. About 90% of titin´s 3.7 mDa sized polypeptide chain is composed of IG and FN3 repeats. The antibodies available from Myomedix recognize unique epitopes located at titin´s N-terminal end (TTN-Z: directed to titin´s Z-Line end), or at its C-terminal M-lined end (TTN-M). The anti-N2A antibody locates in the center of the skeletal elastic I-band (for heart muscle, the anti-N2B antibody TTN-N2B specific for the cardiac titin isoform should be used.
